Images of Paris... Page 4: People

The first time I came here I brought home a million shots of beautiful old buildings, sites, rivers, and mountains, but didn't have enough of the people I came in contact with. So this time I plan on having some to spare! Sometimes I just stop people in the metro and ask them if I can take a photo. Sometimes they just look at me funny...
Some images of the locals and the wild and crazy "Dance Party."

Four gals who said "Oui, pas de problem" in the Jacques Bonsergent Metro station.

In this case, the one on the right was all for it, but her pal wasn't so sure.

Two friends of Nicole's from the US came into town the day after Saji arrived, Terry (far right) and Teresa (the photographer for this shot.) One night we all went out and had dinner at a great bar/restaurant that has live music, Hollywood Savoy.

During the night the waitresses get up on stage and put on a show of funk and 70's tunes. This is Dorothé. (Oh la-LA!)

Dorothé up close... (and impersonal if you know what I'm sayin')

As it turns out, it's Terry's birthday and they make her get up on the bar and dance to "Lady Marmalade" (ya know - "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi - ce soir?") So I get my fat ass up there and dance with her!

At this point everyone in the place was hopping to the funky-funky sounds. The band was cooking and the people were all diggin' it!

Pretty soon the chairs became dance tables!

This is Nada, Nicole's sister.

Andy and Stephanie, Saji's friends from the States were also in town for the event.

A good time was had by all. Happy birthday, Terry.
