Images of Paris... Page 2: The Eiffel Tower


Not the tallest building in the City, but probably the most recognizable.


There are many great views of the tower from many parts of the City as you would guess, as well as some great views from the tower itself.


This is a view looking straight up at what's supposed to be a guy working on the tower in typical garb. It's a mannequin dressed in a jumpsuit and equipped with all the necessary tower-climbing gear.


Looking southwest from the second highest deck on the tower at the River Seine.


Looking due east the Rive Seine splits the upper half of this image.


Turning a bit toward the south you can see the Dome at Invalides.


And a bit more toward the south (actually due southeast if there is such a thing) is a view of the Champs du Mars with the Tour Montparnasse in the background, the tallest building in all of France.
