Images of Paris... Page 1: The Tourist

Well to start, here are a few of those touristy images. I'll break out the camera one of these days and get some more, I promise!

Champs-Elysées with the Arch de Triomphe in the background.
This is the street with all the trendy stores where most visiting Americans spend too much money on stuff that won't fit in their bags on the trip home.
That's why there's a trendy bag shop here also...

Tour Eiffel, Eiffel Tower - take your pick.

Another shot from the top of steps at Trocadéro
across the river Seine.

The Grande Arch de la Défense. After construction of the Tour Montparnasse in 1973, Parisian authorities restricted any more skyscraper-type buildings in the City, and all of the newer buildings sprung up outside of the city-center. This area is La Defense.
The guy in the green coat with the binoculars is a statue.

This littler Arche is near another on Blvd. St. Denis at Sebastpol.

The Fountain at Place St. Michel.

The Arc de Triomphe.

Another shot of the Arc and some Japanese tourist.
