Trains

I don't know why, but everywhere I went, I took plenty of shots of the trains and stations I was visiting. I like the variety of trains, stations, and terrain. I also like the views you get from inside the trains.

This is a tiny staion between Switzerland and Austria. Gorgeous terrain as we traveled through the magnificent Alps.

This sign sais "Do not cross the railway lines" in four langauges: German, Italian, French and English. On this trip you're literally 60 miles away from Italy, Austria, and Germany while traveling through Switzerland.

The TGV is the crazy fast French train system. It can go well over 320 miles per hour. TGV stands for Train à Grande Vitesse which literally translates to "train at big speed." TGV serves France and neighboring Switzerland.

On the way from Salzberg to Halstaat.
Inside the trains are comfy spacious seats. The big trains have full bathrooms, smoking cars and a dining car complete with bar.
Very serene as we cruise through the Alps.

Beautiful views are plentiful on this trip.
