Getting to San Francisco: Come across the Bay Bridge from Oakland/Berkeley, east bay area.
Coming through the tunnel at Treasure Island headed west into the City.

Or, amongst other avenues, you can come across the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge from the north bay area. The fare is higher, but the views are worth the extra buck...

It's hard to take a bad shot of this beautiful landmark from just about anywhere you can see it. These are taken from what's known as Fort Point in the Marina. If I knew the history I'd ramble, but I know that they used to shoot cannon balls from the old brick building at the southern base of the bridge on the SF side,

This one is taken from the Presidio in SF looking a little northeast.

These two go together. They're taken from Coit tower in North Beach. The one on the right shows the Golden Date Bridge to the north looking towards the north bay, and the one one on the right looks out over Alcatraz and Angel Island.

Once you get off the Bay Bridge you can exit into South of Market. It's the southern end of the Financial District. Lots of tall buildings...
The big brown one is the Bank of America building. It's the tallest from ground to top in the City.

50 Fremont. Why this address? I worked there for a year and a half, ground floor is Kinko's, South of Market. It's about a 4 blocks from my old store on Sacramento.
